Army Officer Charged with Sexual Misconduct Involving Female ROTC Cadets
Report:
An Army Officer assigned to U.S. Army Cadet Command and the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Battalion at a reputable college was accused of engaging in sexual relations with multiple female cadets under his charge and supervision. He was specifically charged with both Fraternization for having sex with three cadets and Conduct Unbecoming An Officer for consuming alcohol and exchanging sexually explicit graphic text messages photos and videos with the female cadets. The Officer retained Military Defense Attorney John L. Calcagni III to represent him in connection with these charges. Soon after the charges were preferred Attorney Calcagni successfully negotiated for their dismissal and the Officerӳ resignation.
