Massachusetts Man Sentenced in Rhode Island for Meth Trafficking and Conspiracy

Case Overview:
Newport Police conducted a narcotics investigation into a Massachusetts man who was suspected of distributing counterfeit Adderall pills in Rhode Island that were manufactured with methamphetamine. A confidential informant working with police placed a large drug request with the suspected dealer. Police then set up surveillance and awaited arrival his with the drug shipment. Once the dealer entered the city and traveled to the preset address for drug transactions, police swarmed in on the man’s vehicle. Inside the vehicle they discovered more than 5000 counterfeit pills. They arrested the man and charged him with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine and Conspiracy. He retained Rhode Island Criminal Defense Lawyer, John L.
